Hi! Welcome to my tiny corner of the interwebs! My name is Blessie Kurapati. I am an Indian-American missionary currently residing in San Antonio, Texas. I was born in India and lived in Saudi Arabia with my family for the first ten years of my life. In Saudi Arabia, it is illegal to practice Christianity and any proclamation of faith other than Islam is punishable by death. Therefore, I was a Bible smuggler as part of an underground church movement in the 90s. Having experienced God’s faithfulness and protection, I came to faith in Jesus Christ at the age of 10 in an old underground, sound-proofed house church.

My family relocated to America in 2002, where I got to experience the freedom of worshipping Jesus Christ out loud without any fear of persecution. In 2013, I answered the call to ministry. Currently, I lead a woman’s fellowship in San Antonio—helping young women find their identities in Jesus Christ. I travel and speak nationally and internationally—using my testimony to encourage Believers to fearlessly spread the Gospel.

I am a two-time Liberty University graduate with a Masters in Human Services Counseling- Marriage and Family Therapy. I am also the Founder & CEO of Worthy Worldwide Ministries, Inc., an organization through which, food, shelter, and Christian counseling is provided to unreached Indian orphans to fight against sex-trafficking and child labor. In my spare time, I love reading, blogging, hiking, and taking road trips with family and friends. Now that you know a little about me, I would love to learn about you! I grew up in Saudi Arabia, where I was restricted from speaking about my faith in Jesus Christ because it is against the law. I believe the Lord delivered me out of that situation so that I can boldly speak about His love and goodness all over the world.
